[BOW] Photosynthesis

How does photosynthesis help plants make sugar?
In photosynthesis, chlorophyll in plants' leaves need 6 carbon dioxide molecules (6CO2) and 12 water molecules (12 H2O) to start the process. With light, the carbon dioxide and water molecules are converted into oxygen, water, and glucose. Glucose is also sugar, which plants need for energy and food. In this way, photosynthesis helps plants make sugar.
