What are dominant and recessive alleles?
For a genetic trait, one only needs to have one dominant allele for the trait to show. For a recessive allele, there must be a two of them to be expressed over the dominant allele.
Examples?
A dominant allele would be brown eyes.
A recessive allele would be blue eyes.
